Metastatic Liver Cancer

A variety of tumors can spread (metastasize) to the liver. The most common cancer we operate upon is colorectal cancer. Other tumors include carcinoid and renal cell, and less commonly, ovarian and breast cancers.

At the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute, our comprehensive, multidisciplinary teams review all the treatment options as part of the metastatic liver cancer care plan.
