Liver Cancer Program

The diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer is complex. The Liver Cancer Program is part of the Gastrointestinal Program dedicated to comprehensive integrated care.

Liver Cancer
There are two general types of liver cancer: primary (arising in the liver) and metastatic (spread of the liver from another organ). The treatment options are different and depend on a variety of factors, including the type of tumor. The VPCI team approach ensures the careful multidisciplinary consideration of all treatment options in a supportive environment.
