Emergency

Unity Hospital offers 24-hour trauma care provided by emergency staff trained in critical care. Our emergency department offers specialized rooms for pediatrics, cardiac, orthopedics and gynecology, as well as privacy for families of trauma and critical care patients. Expert care is delivered promptly for any size emergency, with minimal wait times for patients and their families.

All ER physicians are board-certified in emergency medicine which means they can handle virtually any type of illness or injury.

Chest pain evaluation unit

Unity Hospital provides a Chest Pain Evaluation Unit for persons who suspect they may be having a heart attack, but don't want to go to the hospital.

Community members who think there is the possibility their condition may be related to a heart attack are strongly encouraged to come in and be evaluated. Our staff is able to quickly assess the nature of cardiac events and respond with stabilizing or life-saving measures.
