Service to Humanity Gala – September 27

Get ready for yet another fabulous Gala event on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre! Plenty of wonderful items will be available for your bid in both the live and silent auctions, including trips and cruises. You can mingle with hundreds of people during our signature martini reception.

During the Service to Humanity Gala, we present the Service to Humanity Award to both a community member and a physician associated with United Hospital who have demonstrated selfless dedication and exemplary leadership in improving the health and welfare of St. Paul residents and the communities we serve.

Service to Humanity Award Honorees

The 2008 honorees are Elaine S. Larson, a long-time donor and special friend of United Hospital Foundation and Jerone Kennedy, MD, United Neurosurgery Associates.

The United Hospital Foundation is dedicated to keeping United Hospital at the forefront of heath care innovation. To that end, we are working to secure donations to help expand and renovate the Emergency Department so that United can become a model for the nation on how the next generation of emergency departments should be built and run. 2007 Service to Humanity Gala sets record



More than 1600 people attended the United Hospital Foundation's Service to Humanity Gala on Saturday, Sept. 29 to raise a record $1.6 million dollars. Proceeds will benefit the United Hospital Emergency Department and the United Family Practice Health Center.
