If you want to make an impact on your community or spend some time giving back to those who need help, but don’t have a lot of time, United Hospital’s Volunteer Services has a program for you.
Camp United is for youths aged 14 to 18.
Attend one (or more) of our five two-week camps and spend those two weeks helping patients, families and friends at the hospital. There is no fee for volunteer camp. During the two weeks you will help people, learn about health care and reap the benefits of volunteering.
Each two-week session runs Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, and you must commit to be in attendance for all 10 days of the session. This is a selection process, and not all applicants are accepted into the program. We reserve the right to place volunteers in the area we feel is best suited to their skills and the needs of the hospital.
