The Breast Center
The Breast Center of United Hospital is a comprehensive program of screening, diagnostic, treatment and support services for women with benign and malignant breast disease. The Breast Center provides quality care from a team of professionals, backed by the latest technology.
A unique part of our care team is our Nurse Clinician. She is an advanced practice nurse with education and experience in caring for women with breast disease. She can answer questions, offer emotional support and help find other resources appropriate for the woman and her family during treatment and recovery.

Sage Screening Program
The Breast Center participates in the Minnesota Department of Health's Sage Screening Program. This statewide comprehensive breast and cervical cancer screening program is dedicated to increasing the number of women who are screened for breast and cervical cancer. It provides free screening and follow-up services to uninsured and underinsured women.
Cancer Rehabilitation Services
Individuals with cancer may experience a decline in the ability to exercise, perform home activities and job skills. Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute offers comprehensive cancer rehabilitation services including:
- lymphedema management by certified lymphedema therapists
- physical therapy
- occupational therapy
- speech and language therapy
- vocational consultation and referral
