The neurosurgeons at United Neurosurgery Associates are renowned for their expertise and technical skills. Our physicians specialize in:

Brain and spinal cord tumors, using brain mapping, spinal cord monitoring, stereotactic image guidance and intraoperative MRI

Pituitary tumors
Epilepsy, including brain mapping/stimulation, vagal nerve stimulators, lobectomies/lesionectomies, corpus callostomy and hemispherectomy
Blood vessel abnormalities (including aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, carotid stenosis. intraoperative angiography and electrophysiologic monitoring is utilized.)
Intracranial hemorrhage
Complex spinal disorders
Degenerative disc disease, including artificial disc replacement or fusion

Pediatric cerebral palsy, including selective dorsal rhizotomy, baclofen pumps

Evaluation and treatment is coordinated closely with other neuroscience specialists, including neuroradiologist, neurooncologists, neuroanesthesiologists, neurologists, physiatrists, neuropsychologists and neurophysiologists.

Our nurse practitioners prepare patients for their initial assessment, provide education and coordinate all follow-up care. They are expertly trained and work in partnership with the neurosurgeons.

Referrals

We provide a referral form for the convenience of the patient and the referring physician. This form lists the medical tests that are helpful to have for our first visit with the patient. We request that the patients bring their scans images (MRI, CT, angiogram, myelogram, plain films, etc.,) with them to their appointment.

In addition, we have included two of the forms that patients need to complete. You may print off these forms and fill them out before coming to your first appointment.

Our clinic is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our on-call physician can be accessed by calling 651-241-6550.

Our location

Our clinic is located in the Nasseff Specialty Center next to United Hospital, with convenient parking in the Specialty Center parking lot next to the Center on Chestnut. Cost is $2 to park, with no time restrictions.
