Sister Kenny Sports & Physical Therapy Center provides aquatic physical therapy through its clinics in Coon Rapids, Fridley, Minneapolis and White Bear Lake.

decreased swelling
increased functional ability
increased range of motion
decreased pressure on joints
Treatment Program
The aquatic treatment program may include:
conditioning/endurance training
trunk stabilization exercises
upper/lower extremity strength exercises
range of motion exercises and joint flexibility
gait training
proprioceptive training
training for return to sport activities
Patients will be evaluated at the Sister Kenny Sports & Physical Therapy Center most convenient to them and transferred to the pool for subsequent visits. Patients will be progressed to an independent water program. A land-based conditioning program will also be developed for patients who may benefit.
