The purpose of the Facility Development Committee is an action team that reports to the Campus Operating Committee (COC) and works with clinical and support staff leadership. The committee is responsible for coordinating planning activities for inpatient and outpatient facility development and design; conducting planning and design meetings with occupants and A/E firm, partnering with occupants for redesign of processes to enhance patient’s perception of “seamless” care; making recommendations to COC for approval and inclusion in facility schematic design; and managing the planning and design activities to meet approved project timeline and budget.
