Winthrop Area ClinicThe Winthrop Area Clinic is a full-service clinic with basic onsite lab and radiology capabilities. Winthrop Area Clinic opened its doors December 3, 2007, and is staffed 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Monday. A team of physicians, a nurse practitioner and staff bring top of the line healthcare to the Winthrop residents and workforce. Stephen Gilles, MD, sees patients Monday and Wednesday mornings; Charles Stephens, MD, sees patients Tuesday mornings; Kathy Kobbermann, MD and Kara Jorve, MD, will alternately see patients Thursday mornings. Nurse Practitioner Michelle Owens sees patients every afternoon and all day Fridays. In addition to services provided on-site, the Winthrop Area Clinic is backed by all the services and specialties offered by the New Ulm Medical Center and Allina Hospitals and Clinics.
