Chemotherapy / Oncology Department

New Ulm Medical Center's Chemotherapy / Oncology Department provides a caring environment as well as comprehensive techniques to guide cancer patients through what can be a difficult time. Working with an oncologist on site and nurses specially trained in oncology work, patients receive a high quality of care using the most current practices.

• The Oncology Department provides infusion therapy not only for cancer patients but also for other diagnosis requiring infusion therapy, such as low iron and rheumatoid arthritis.
• Patients are able to access the Chemotherapy Department, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Our primary oncologist, Dr. Ettore Piroso, also provides services at the Mankato Clinic and brings with him the resources of that comprehensive facility.
