New Ulm Medical Center’s Chemotherapy/Oncology Department provides a caring environment as well as comprehensive techniques to guide cancer patients through what can be a difficult time. Working with an oncologist on site and nurses specially trained in oncology work, patients receive a high quality of care using the most current practices.
Our primary oncologist, Dr. Daniel Frenning, also provides services at the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute and brings with him the resources of that comprehensive facility.
The Oncology Department provides infusion therapy not only for cancer patients but also for other diagnosis requiring infusion therapy, such as low iron and rheumatoid arthritis.
Patients are able to access the Chemotherapy Department 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
