Abbott Northwestern orthopedists hold free seminar in Maple Grove
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. 05/22/2009--The Arthritis Foundation and Abbott Northwestern Hospital are sponsoring Arthritis: Innovations in Treatment June 25 at the Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove, Minn.
The keynote speakers are orthopedists Scott Anseth, M.D., and Lisa Wasserman, M.D., from Abbott Northwestern's Joint Replacement Center and Deborah Sales Maysack, North Central Chapter president and CEO of the Arthritis Foundation.
"We want people to know the operative and non-operative options that exist for arthritis," said Dr. Anseth. "We’ll be talking especially about arthritis of the knee, foot and ankle."
The seminar is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and is free. Because refreshments will be served, people are asked to let the Arthritis Foundation know by June 18 if they plan to attend by calling 651-644-4108.
Abbott Northwestern Hospital is part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics, a not-for-profit health care system of hospitals, clinics and other patient care services that provides exceptional care to communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
