People with high blood pressure wanted for Allina's Abbott Northwestern study
MINNEAPOLIS 02/11/2010--Do you have or know someone with high blood pressure?
You can take a more active role in your health care, gain early access to new drugs and treatments, obtain expert medical care, and help others by contributing to medical research.
Abbott Northwestern Hospital's Penny George Institute for Health and Healing needs volunteers, ages 55 to 75, for a systolic hypertension or high blood pressure study.
- Individuals with high systolic blood pressure, but normal or low diastolic blood pressure, may be eligible to participate.
- Physical exam, blood tests and stress-management training will be provided at no cost.
- Subjects will be compensated for time and travel.
