What is required of volunteers?
Volunteers are required to:
Commit to one shift every other week (approximately 8 hours a month) or as service area requires. The minimum commitment is 50 hours, or about 6 months.
Complete a health screening and criminal background check which are provided free of charge. The health screening includes MMR and Chicken Pox immunity status and a TB Screening.
Attend orientation and service specific training.

How do I get started?
Complete an Online Application (18+ use the Adult Online Application Form, 15-18 years old use the VolunTEEN OnlineApplication Form), or call 763-236-8011 to request a paper copy, and sign up for an orientation time.
Attend orientation and complete the background check form and health screening.
Make a placement appointment with the Volunteer Services department and attend area specific training after placement.
