CINAHL database

General:

The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health (CINAHL) database provides authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health. Selected journals are also indexed in the areas of consumer health, biomedicine, and health sciences librarianship. In total, more than 1200 journals are regularly indexed; online abstracts are available for more than 800 of these titles. The database also provides access to healthcare books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of professional practice, educational software and audiovisual materials in nursing.

Access:

Access is available from the Allina Library Services web page (www.allina.com/library).  If you are on a computer on the Allina network, you may access without a password. Remote access is available for all Allina or Children's Hospitals & Clinics affiliated medical staff, nurses, and other health professionals by completing a remote access registration form.
