What is Allina.com?
Allina.com is a community service of Allina
Hospitals & Clinics, a not-for-profit network of hospitals, clinics and
other health care services. If you live in Minnesota or western Wisconsin. If
you live in that area, we're your local, first stop for health and medical information
and services. We're also an extension of Allina Physician Referral and Class Registration (formerly called MedformationŽ).
What is the connection between Allina.com and Allina Physician Referral and Class Registration?
Both Allina.com and Allina Physician Referral and Class Registration (formerly called MedformationŽ) are community services of Allina Hospitals & Clinics. The two services have different staffs but use some of the same information and databases. For example, the Web site uses the same doctor finder and class
registration service as the contact center.
Who can use Allina.com?
You can. Allina.com is a free service available to anyone. However, our local
resources focus on areas served by Allina Hospitals
& Clinics -- mainly Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Where does your information come from?
We have many sources. When possible, original content is gathered from Allina
Hospitals & Clinics. Professionals at Allina locations have been writing health
and medical information for more than 100 years. Some of that knowledge and
experience is available here. We also license information from reputable medical
information companies.
