Compassionate Friend- South of the River Chapter
The mission of The Compassionate Friend is to assist families in the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age, and to provide information to help others be supportive. If you have had a child die at any age, from birth to adult, these meetings are for you. We are an international, nonprofit, self-help support organization with almost 600 chapters. There is no religious affiliation. Parents, grandparents, siblings (over age 12), extended family, and visitors are welcome.

Grief education and support
The Hastings Area Grief Coalition sponsors regular grief education and support group sessions. for anyone grieving the death of a significant person. "In a respectful Christian atmosphere, this coalition welcomes all people with opportunities to understand and express their own grief experience." (Quote from their brochure.)

The Grief Journey
HealthPartners Hospice of the Lakes & Palliative Care Adult Grief Education and Support Program. Three times through the calendar year this 6-week bereavement support group is offered at various locations around the Twin Cities Metro area.
