Annandale School District awarded for adding health and wellness to its core curriculum

Allina Hospitals & Clinics awarded Annandale School District the 2008 Healthy Community Award for its integration of health and wellness education into its core curriculum across grades K to 12.

In 2006, the district partnered with Allina's Buffalo Hospital to introduce students in the second, third and fourth grades to the DAAN™ Youth Curriculum.

This video shows how through its consistent, integrated approach to health and wellness, the Annandale School District established a culture of wellness throughout its schools -- and within our next generation.
