Qualifications

Allina Hospitals & Clinics' Nursing Student Internship is for students who are…

• enrolled in an ADN (associate degree of nursing), BAN (bachelor’s of arts in nursing) or BSN (bachelor's of science in nursing) program
• enrolled in a summer internship course through a participating Minnesota college or university
• graduating within one year of their internship experience

Instructions

1. Complete your application packet. The application you submit will be considered for all locations and clinical areas.

It must include:

• completed application form
• 2 clinical/faculty reference forms one from a clinical instructor/ and one from either a clinical or faculty instructor
• Nursing Career Personal Vision Essay
• Professional resume
• Copy of unofficial Transcript (to date)

*If you submit your application packet via email, please submit one email with all of the application materials included. The clinical/faculty reference forms must be sent separately from the instructor either via email or mail.

If selected, we will contact you to schedule an interview.

If you are already an Allina employee and want to return to your current department after your internship, please obtain written permission from your present manager to reduce your employment status to temporary casual during your internship. You will also need to be in good standing in your current Allina position.
