Graduate Nurse Residency Program

The New Graduate Nurse Program provides the graduate nurse with ongoing support throughout their entire first year of practice. Monthly workshops and a professional mentorship program will assist the new RN in navigating the transition from student nurse to professional nurse.

Program specifics

There is no application deadline. Applications are accepted all year long.

Program Goals

• Develop effective clinical judgment and inquiry.
• Facilitate progression from advanced beginner to competent nursing practice.
• Develop clinical leadership skills to effectively lead the patient care team.
• Strengthen commitment to nursing as a profession and solidify the value of lifelong learning and development.
