Hospitalist ServicesHospitalists (in-house physicians) are available weekdays and weekends to support the medical staff (to ensure physician presence in the patient care units, when needed). In addition to admitting patients, rounding on patients, managing resuscitations, and providing support to the health care team, the hospitalist physicians also teach and coach hospital staff on a daily basis. They actively participate in medical staff committees and provide leadership on project teams.
