Our Education Department serves to all age groups of patients, staff members
and members of the community. Services include educational needs assessment, coordination
and evaluation of education services offered, development of educational programs
and tools for Cambridge Medical Center, and support for the continuing education
for staff and physicians, as well as staff mandatory education and competency
programs.
Provides organizational liaison between educational institutions, including professional
and technical schools, as well as high schools. Supports job shadowing and other
long term recruitment measures and works with local educational funding programs
to ensure maximum resources are available for training of Cambridge Medical Center
personnel.
Functions as a liaison with Allina Education for the development of educational
videos and materials, patient education brochures, as well as educational videos
for patient teaching.
