Virginia Piper Cancer Institute
At the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute, we are passionate about serving the rapidly increasing number of people with cancer in our area with our unique, patient-centered, multi-disciplinary and effective approach. Based on current statistics, approximately half of all Minnesotans will be diagnosed with an invasive cancer during their lifetimes. The Virginia Piper Cancer Institute Vision Campaign will provide philanthropic support for a one door approach that includes a central clinic with state-of-the-art equipment, nurse coordinators who partner with every patient to coordinate their care and access to the most promising breakthroughs in clinical research. The goal of the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute Vision Campaign is $33 million. To date, Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Allina have committed $13 million toward this goal. Our community leaders are engaged in raising $20 million more from grateful patients and generous friends of Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Learn more about the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute.
