We hope to decrease the number of people who develop cancer, heart disease, lung disease and other illness caused by smoking. This American Lung Association series of eight classes will help you start your journey to become smoke-free. Topics we'll cover include health issues associated with tobacco use, coping skills needed to prevent relapse and group support to reinforce your decision to stop using tobacco.

The series is open to patients at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Allina clinics, including Allina Medical Clinic, Aspen Medical Group and Quello Clinic locations. There is no charge, but participants are expected to attend all eight classes.
