Home care visits

Talk with your health care provider about having a home visit by a home care nurse once you're home from the hospital.

The home care nurse can come to your home to see how you and your baby are doing. The nurse will examine you and your baby. (This process is similar to exams given by nurses in the hospital.) This is also a time to get all of your questions answered in a relaxed, one-on-one visit.

If you would like, you can invite your partner and family members to be a part of this home visit. Most insurance companies cover this service.
