Third trimester: What's happening to your body

Your baby and your uterus have grown dramatically.

During this trimester, your baby will move lower into your pelvis.

  • This means that you may be able to breathe more comfortably and that any indigestion you've had may ease.
  • It also means you'll be going to the bathroom even more often, because there is more pressure on your bladder.

You'll probably feel more tired again, partly because it's harder to find a comfortable position for sleeping. Walking and sitting may be uncomfortable, too.
