Third trimester: How you may feel sexually

Heartburn, leg cramps, and the size and position of your baby may lessen your desire for sex. Or, it may inspire you to become creative and find new positions for lovemaking. Be sure to talk with your partner about what each of you desire and what is comfortable. Explore new ways to share closeness.

Your health care provider will advise you if you need to stop having intercourse or reaching orgasm.
