Third trimester: Your emotions

During this trimester you may be excited about planning for your baby's arrival and getting a space ready. Some days you may be wondering what kind of parent you will be and be less eager for the baby to be born. Your body has changed so much you may wonder if it will ever go back to the way it was before you got pregnant.

As your due date draws near, you may be impatient for your baby to be born. Or, you may be anxious about giving birth. Talking with other pregnant women in childbirth and parenting classes may be helpful.

Your partner is also preparing for your baby's birth. Sharing your feelings is an important part of a strong relationship and being a parent. Schedule dates for quiet time together.
