Financially speaking, many mothers have no choice about returning to work. Others can afford to stay at home with their infant.

The costs of returning to work might make your family's net income smaller than you would think. For example, finding child care providers who provide good, safe service at a reasonable cost can challenge even the most child care-savvy parent.
