Special interests: Dr. Benson sees adolescents and adults, families, couples or partners. She specializes in depression and anxiety, relationship and behavioral issues, body image and eating disorder difficulties, duel diagnoses, sexuality and trauma issues. She assesses people for bariatric weight-loss surgery and helps patients before and after surgery.
Dr. Benson will incorporate spirituality into therapy when that is desired. She also has experience working with people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender.
