Special interests: Dr. Carlson has performed thousands of laser vision correction procedures at Phillips Eye Institute since the mid 1990s. He believes so strongly in the LASIK procedure, he's had it done personally.
Involved in a variety of vision-correcting procedures since the late 1980s, Dr. Carlson holds a long list of certifications: LASIK, LASEK, Radial Keratotomy, Photorefractive Keretectomy, Wavefront Laser Vision Correction, Small incision multi-focal intraocular lens surgery with Array and ReZoom lenses.
