When to call your doctorPart of taking good care of yourself is becoming an informed patient.
- Ask your health care team for specific instructions about when they want you to call the hospital, the clinic, or a nurse practitioner.
- Write their instructions down and store them in several easy-to-find places, like on the refrigerator door and inside the bathroom medicine cabinet.
