Integrative Medicine Lecture Series This is one of nine lectures by Gary Carlson, MD, a physician on staff at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing. Each offering in this series is a self-contained lecture, followed by a brief question and answer period. You can attend any one or combination of lectures; however, the classes will build on each other and reinforce key concepts. Other lectures in the series include:
October 15—A Holistic Approach to Individual Health All classes meet Thursdays, 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Medical professionals may earn 1 continuing education credit per lecture. The cost is $15 each. Register for all nine and receive a 10 percent discount. Which vitamin(s) and supplements should you be taking? How do you know if the company that makes them is any good? We will finish by discussing different medical problems like depression, fatigue, etc. and what specific supplements may be helpful.
