Transforming Health Care Practice: A Series of Classes for Health Care Professionals

This is part of a series of classes designed to help clinicians integrate complementary or alternative medicine into their practice. Other classes include:

This course will broaden your knowledge of nutrition beyond the science of calories, grams and fat. Instructor Carolyn Denton, MA, LN, will teach how food affects the body and health, exploring the concept of food as information.

The focus will be on which foods to include in the diet and why, with discussion of related topics such as phytonutrients, fats, inflammation...and yes, the benefits of chocolate.

Join us Friday, November 13 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $90. Allina Hospitals & Clinics employees receive a 15 percent discount.
