Cognition Changes Following Stroke (Minneapolis, Minnesota)

A stroke can affect you physically and emotionally. Changes after your stroke may be mild or severe. Changes may be brief or long-lasting.

Neuropsychologist Kyle Harvison, MD, will discuss how stroke affects cognition -- one's ability to understand -- and how stroke survivors and their loved ones can work to better understand each other.

Kenny Grad School: 2009 Stroke Lecture Series

This free program is part of Sister KennyŽ Rehabilitation Institute's education series for stroke survivors and their care partners. From January to November 2009, programs from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month address topics related to recovery and living life after a stroke. All are welcome to attend.
