Basic ECG Interpretation (Minneapolis, Minnesota)
This introductory, three day course -- Fridays, November 6, 13 and 20 -- is for nurses responsible for the interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmia, their impact on patient condition and appropriate interventions.
Among other skills, participants completing the course should be able to:
- describe and recognize the features of normal sinus rhythms and abnormal rhythms on several ECG samples
- identify pacemaker functioning on several ECG samples
- describe key ethical elements to consider in an arrhythmia-related case study, as well as potential resources to help address them
- list treatment modalities for abnormal rhythms.
The $100 fee includes course materials and the opportunity to earn up to 21.75 hours of continuing education credit.
