Basic ECG Interpretation (Minneapolis, Minnesota)

This introductory, three day course -- Fridays, November 6, 13 and 20 -- is for nurses responsible for the interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmia, their impact on patient condition and appropriate interventions.

Among other skills, participants completing the course should be able to:

describe and recognize the features of normal sinus rhythms and abnormal rhythms on several ECG samples
identify pacemaker functioning on several ECG samples
describe key ethical elements to consider in an arrhythmia-related case study, as well as potential resources to help address them
list treatment modalities for abnormal rhythms.

The $100 fee includes course materials and the opportunity to earn up to 21.75 hours of continuing education credit.
