Integrative Medicine Lecture Series This is one of nine lectures by Gary Carlson, MD, a physician on staff at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing. Each offering in this series is a self-contained lecture, followed by a brief question and answer period. You can attend any one or combination of lectures; however, the classes will build on each other and reinforce key concepts. Other lectures in the series include:
October 22—Food as Medicine I All classes meet Thursdays, 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Medical professionals may earn 1 continuing education credit per lecture. The cost is $15 each. Register for all nine and receive a 10 percent discount. The first lecture of a nine-part series with emphasis on self care, prevention and using complementary and alternative therapies as well as functional medicine concepts.
