3M Championship (Blaine, Minnesota)
If you're a golf enthusiast and enjoy seeing the great players on the senior golf tour, mark your calendar for Monday, July 14 to Sunday, July 20.
During the past 16 years, the 3M Championship has raised more than $13 million to support health care services at Allina's Twin Cities hospitals. Proceeds from last year's event directly benefited Abbott Northwestern Hospital's Virginia Piper Cancer Institute and the emergency department expansion and renovation projects at Mercy Hospital, United Hospital and Unity Hospital. These same services will be the beneficiaries of the 2008 tournament.
