Whether you have just been told you have diabetes or you have had diabetes for years, knowing what resources are available to help you manage your diabetes can be very valuable.

Here are just some of the many resources that are available. If you have any questions, please talk with your diabetes educator or health care provider.

Allina diabetes programs

Support groups

Allina offers monthly support groups to anyone whose life is affected by diabetes in these Minnesota cities: Farmington, Hastings and Shakopee. Topics of discussion may include:

  • mental health and diabetes
  • exercises and physical activity
  • heart health screenings.
