Breastfeeding Preparation
This class focuses on the benefits of breastfeeding, care of breast, positioning, "latching on," frequency, length of feedings, pumping, storing milk, returning home from the hospital and weaning. It is encouraged that your labor companion attend with you.
Package price discounts are available by enrolling in a Childbirth and Parenting Preparation or an Expecting Multiples class plus 2 or 3 of the following classes: Healthy Pregnancy, All About Babies and Breastfeeding Preparation. By enrolling in three classes you will save $15 and by enrolling in four classes you will save $50.
Medical Assistance Health Plans cover the cost of some of these classes. All other types of insurance holders must check with your insurance company regarding reimbursement by your respective health plan after full payment and attendance of class.
