Basic meatloaf
Need to reduce the salt in your diet? Try this healthful twist to an American standard.
Ingredients2 pounds extra lean ground beef
1 cup Cracker Meal®
2 large eggs
2/3 cup low-sodium ketchup, divided
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash® Original Blend seasoning
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use a nonstick cooking spray to coat the pan.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except for 1/3 cup ketchup.
- Mix well.
- Place on a baking pan and shape into a loaf.
- Spread the remaining 1/3 cup ketchup over the top.
- Bake for 1 hour or until done.
